Rother
Put some spaces after punctuation and I might be able to tell whether it's banter. It's just so difficult to quickly scan-read your posts that a lot of the time I just don't bother. You're as bad a the txt speak teenagers. NICE GUY
G8 post M8,Shame about O'Toole missing 3 games. What a load of bull, Keith Scott not worried about O'Tooles ban....yeah right, who's he trying to kid. O'Toole has already scored half of Windsor's 6 goals. When Scott was told of the ban I bet he looked up who Windsor were playing, then head in hands....Oh no ! After their Cup game against Didcot they have 2 of the fancied CCL teams in Egham and Hanworth Villa......good timing I would say wouldn't you ! I'd bet Scott wished they had ''different'' teams to play their CCL fixtures ! So we will see how life is without O'Toole this will give an insight of Windsor depth in strikers. BTW Porter can play up top ??? .
Rother
It's hardly ideal that's for sure but we have a squad and in Harris and Smith have 2 guys ready to step up and lead the line. Harris has improved massively since last season and I think he might thrive on being No 1, whilst Gavin Smith has scored a lot of goals at a higher level than CL so is more than capable of notching a few! We shall see eh?
Smudge
You can only live in hope Rother, thought I read somewhere that Smith was hardly prolific, when last at Windsor. Why am I posting this, you probably will not read it anyway.EDIT for all bar Rother. Neil Baker
Smudge, Gav Smith is a quality player and has played his whole career at step 4 or higher, is one of mine and Jon's best mates having played with him for years, could have stayed with us as a squad player this year, but he went to Windsor with our blessing, and will score goals for them, maybe not the most prolific, but his all round play brings others into play, and that will only benefit Windsor. Smudge
Not disputing the fact that he is decent Bakes. But can he replace O'Toole and Harris or will he be a squad player there.Players only want to play, not bench warm.
Chief Scout
Gav smith is an all round better player than o'toole, bags of experience and goals at a lot higher level. He brings so much to a team, good brain and decision making on the ball is good. Strong in the air also. I didn't know he was at Windsor, massive recruit!! Neil Baker
Smudge, Gav is getting on a bit now, so won't be able to play week in week out, and with a young family it just fits nicely for him, if he has to come off the bench for 20 minutes he will be happy to do that, if he starts and plays 90, same... one thing as Cheif Scout says is he is great in the air, and can be a right pain to mark. Was one of the few lads that when i played against where i didn't win 80-90% of my headers.... Great person to have around the club also..... as positive and top banter!! (hope he doesn't see this though lol)
