Away shirt - a different slant on the debate

What about the supporter that buys the away kit and it don't get used, that would be a waist of money.

That's a question in itself.......do supporters buy the away shirt because they like it or because they think we're going to wear it for the majority of away games? I'd buy a shirt because I liked it, I don't think it would bother me if we wore it or not.

I did not like the red and blue away shirt, but I bought, and wore it because it helps the club financialy, and yes I have bought the green shirt.

What's the point in having an online shop if the stuff your selling on it is months out of date?

It's more difficult than it sounds given we don't have a fixed club shop with stable stock.

Given that players and management aside, the rest of the people that do stuff for the club do it voluntarily, in addition to their real jobs and families and goodness knows what else. Everyone does their best. Its not perfect, but it is our best.

Just got back from Holiday and seen your sarcastic stupid comment Tom.

 

I only made the comment because Tristan posted asking when the new away shirt will be on line because he wanted to buy one and it looked like a reply was not forthcoming.

 

I know people who do the hard graft behind the scenes for the club are volunteers and have jobs, families etc etc and I'm sure are very much appreciated by everyone but all Tristans post required was a few words in reply.
