F A Cup & F A Vase Pennants

In The Know

Recommended Posts

A general question to all CCL clubs. Do your clubs present pennants or any other momento to the opposition clubs on match days. Ever since we have been in the FA Cup and FA Vase we have presented embroidered pennants to the opposition and in most cases we have had something in return. I remember in the Vase Three Bridges presented us a salver and Faversham presented us with a piece of engraved glass.

What sort of things if anything do your own club present as I believe it is a reflection on our league?

Good luck to all CCL clubs in the Vase this season, it would be good to get a few through to the national stages like South Park did last season

I think Guernsey have swapped pennants with visiting clubs, might be best to ask one of the Guernsey fans here.

Aupostie,I know you have always done this and I think it shows your club in a good professional light in doing it.

Our Ash United one from the Vase a few years ago is hanging up in the Boardroom at Godalming. Still weighing up a 7 day approach for you at the moment. Ha ha..

That RVP looks quite a good player, wouldn't you agree as a Gooner!!!!!
