Of course you do what else can you do you cant just jump ship if your team is losing you have got to stick in there, stick together and battle on to the end of the season look at us in the first half of last season we were getting battered in nearly every game but we got to the end of the season and stayed up BY DEFAULT

_{Staines started the better team and created lots of chances in the first half. Haringey's defending was rubbish and the keeper was flapping about all over the shop. Eventually Staines managed to score and they deserved it. Haringey had chances too, but the difference was all in the defences.}

_{Second half and Haringey were a different team. From the first whistle Haringey were on the attack and could have scored an absolute bucket full. They score two goals to take the lead within ten minutes of the second half starting and added a third later on. Some very nice movement from Haringey going forward, but there were still issues at the back. I hope that this was just an off day for their defenders and goalkepper.}

_{Also at this one. An old friend's birthday bash necessitating a visit to norff landon. A ground that's been missing from my portfolio for far too long; if I had a pint for every time I've been past on the bus in the last 30+ years I would be very pissed indeed (some would say no change there). I noticed that the programme carried dire threats about taking alcohol out of the (closed) clubhouse, only to find cans of lager being sold from a pitchside gazebo! Naturally I did not partake, pre match refreshments being had in the Old Ale Emporium on Green Lanes and the Wetherspoons by Wood Green tube station}
