Dunstable Town v Oxhey Jets Game of the day maybe ?

I will be at the Southall v Winslow United game.

I'm still considering it but not sure I could take it. Harder being a spectator than playing sometimes even when a drubbings involved

Judging by sportsshots today we looking pretty depleted even more so for Sat and with one key player having decided to jump ship apparebtly after being dropped last game could be tough sat for management and players. I'm sure all concerned will give it 100%

He is certainly off - all his sniping remarks will be deleted, this forum does not need them

Well done KB also stops others myself included from clogging up threads with biting back and retaliating etc.. Bravo I say.

I must admit I thought perry would do a better job , it looks like most of his players come from kit bamber ? I just can't see it getting any better for them , as you no wb these young lads good or not wont want to be at a club that gets beat every week . It will also be hard for them to attract decent players . When I was watching Tuesday the reserves where training next club house , they looked like they had better players than first team , but is was only training .

Agree there are some decent players in res but also some poor ones. Perry been hampered by late start an players already being elsewhere. As far as I know he is continually talking to players. Might be a season we just have to ride out and then with full summer next year really go after it. A lot of off the field structure being put in place that in medium and long term will put us in stronger position. I think we will pick up players in next month or so as teams he has contacts with settle down and some players are not getting 1st team football at higher div and placed teams. However without good results it becomes hard to convince players to come as you say especially with no money. I've heard talk of a link with a full time club which give us access to loans from their academy so will just have to wait and see mate. The club has been through tougher times

He does keep asking ampthill if they have any players , but if players are not making first team they go play for the reserves and bicknell keeps an eye on them .

I'm sure mate and got to have a good reserve side to be competitive but some players don't want to play reserve football, I know I didn't when I was playing properly. Its ok if you're a young lad coming through. I know he is mates with cb ;-) and Joycey so I'm sure he will be onto them on a regular basis. Have heard he's been talking to Shrievesy too. Either way I'm convinced we will have enough to stay up this season and with grants and improvements in facilities imminent as well as a youth set up that continues to strengthen should have a much better crack sooner rather than later. As and when I hear anything concrete on loans I'll post. Fingers crossed. I'll try and make Ampthill game at Hanwell or one of other London games. Been an encouraging start for you guys. Top 6 my prediction and I'm sure a couple of good cup runs.

That would be great for ampthill to achieve that in there first season . But a lot of hard work has got to be done , cb said in his interview this season is about holding there own and learn all about prem football . I believe it's a big step up from div 1 , but after a few seasons in the prem and a few more sponsors lol ampthill will be looking to win it .

it is mate but alot of work to do , but we are going in the right direction , bicknell wanted an under 18s this season on the flood lit league , and he put a good set up together , I see they beat king Langley Wednesday night in there first game 2.1 so looking good . Luton town Wednesday night at home I'll be going along to give my support .
