A game of two halves and the life of being a goalkeeper, sums this one up nicely.

1st half we started well and would say we had the upper hand, took the lead through Sam lechmere after glenn Poole chase down well and got a lucky bounce. Marc Charles-Smith (MC-S) I thought done really well upfront, won every header in the first half and looked like he has good potential, he has 3 games now to prove his worth while jays banned.

2nd half, well we got caught sleeping in the changing rooms, all of the good work we did in the first half got undone. We did create a couple of half chances hit straight at there keeper, but we lacked any real threat. Ozzy run his socks off took a few clatterings, hopefully Saturday it will fall to him in front of goal to get him scoring. Our point has come thanks to dale, it looks like he made a mistake for their goal, but then pulled off 3/4 brilliant saves, none other than one from the last kick of the game.

Time to move on to bath and have everything crossed we can get a point down there.

Definitely a game of two halves this one, shaded the first half, were dominated in the second. We managed to create a couple of chances, but struggled to maintain any sort of possession, and Hornchurch were rampant at times.

Attendance 647 (looked like more than that to me), which is disappointing, but was always going to be down on last years game vs AFCH, as we're still in school holidays, and no title race this year.

No clean sheet in 4 games is a bit of a worry, but I think Oates Swaine Wild Green has the potential to be a really good defence, just need to cut out the silly errors that seem to be costing us at the moment, and gain a bit of confidence.

On the flip side we haven't failed to score in any game yet.

4 games in and a heck of a long way to go, but enough reasons to stay positive and if we end up where we are now (16th) that would be a pretty decent result.

Hard to know how the division will shape up, but we seem to be getting the tougher away trips early up. Bath on Saturday, and a point there would be an excellent result.

Played well in first half. Reynolds looked good in his new midfield role whilst Charles-Smith was a constant threat. Got the goal, could've added another but the second 45 we completely switched off. That was the worst half so far this season. He's made a few ricketts lately, but Dale earnt us a point at the end. Onwards to Bath!
