Wow didn’t see this one coming. We started well with nice move and early corner in the first minute- had a claim for a penalty waved away and Lammas broke, ball crossed in and our defender handled. Penalty converted. Responded well but Lammas full of confidence looked sharped everywhere and doubled the lead on half hour. In truth if we had come in four down at half time we couldn’t have complained. Just wasn’t to be our night

Anyway a few choice words at half time along with a couple of changes and we started better second half. In 17 second half minutes we scored 4. They also went down to 10 men after a second booking. Were simply sensational and added a 5^th late on and could have added more. Lammas just went to pieces. To be fair to them they added a 3^rd from a corner late on. If we play like that second half then anything’s possible this season. All talk of teams being out the title race in august is rubbish, the league is firmly up for grabs this season to anyone and I think you could lose 7 or 8 games and still do it.

He loves a Pen,I heard Footy.On the topic of Refs,there were loads of the Great and Good at Raynes Park last night,more like a convention.Do CCL Refs have to pay an Entrance Fee?Or just produce a Card.

Smudge - pay ground entrance, just the same as you. Are you suggesting we should be issued with freee entry cards? If so, you could organise a petition to CCFL, but can't see much support. When I watch a match I am happy to financially support a local club, but I have noticed some clubs have increased prices to what I think is a bit OTT.

We took the side over with about 10 games to go last season and played a lot of the youth team boys with a bit of experience and it worked well

This season we moved leagues and have most of the side still together and still got some good young lads coming in

Yes mate was very happy at Mole Valley, lovely club, good people and we managed finish half way up Suburban which is never a bad shout in your first season in it. Travelling was abit much though so have found a club a little bit closer to home. Only coaching at Hartley though but its a nice club and all experiance in the locker...

NOOOOOO why did you have to bring that up. I left that part of the story out on purpose. Sandhurst offered us a job but we had said no was very happy at Valley. Eventually they gave me an offer i couldnt refuse so reluctantly left Mole Valley for Sandhurst.

It'd be wrong to go into it anymore because there are many good people at Sandhurst, but it wasnt what it could have been and Hartley very kindly said to me I would be welcome to help their reserves.

dont be to disappointed there were a few first teamers there last night that are either coming back from injury (thatll be me) or need games as have been subs alot i know that your club is basically starting from scratch after manager an players left for thatcham!! did you play mate?
