No not about me,but a Club that were CCL Champions last year,Guildford City. Was reported widely that a Guildford Player had assaulted a CCL Referee at the end of the Match,in February 2011.The Guildford Secretary said at the time 'He will never play for Guildford City again'.Well guess what, he is back there,Playing. His player profile made me laugh though, where it stated, he had taken 18 months out of the game.SHAME ON YOU GUILDFORD CITY!!!!!!YES the player concerned has served his suspension,so can play anywhere if he wants too.But for them taking him back, really shows a lack of Class.

Of course I do Allstar,or else I would not of posted the Thread. As for them being Evo Stik, and this being the Combined Counties Forum, has no relevance in my eyes.We are not regimented on this Forum, unlike some, that is why people visit the site.Only wish I could do links to the 'Get Surrey post on 22nd February 2011',which quotes Ray Ward,Surrey F.A.Which has some revealing comments by him.Like the Club cannot be charged by the F.A. for a Players actions in a matter like this.

Here you go Smudge:-

AN inquiry has been launched by the Surrey FA following an assault on a referee by a Guildford City footballer.Midfielder Tommy Tydeman “kicked and punched” Ash official Gavin Collins at the end of Saturday’s Combined Counties League match between title-chasers City and Chessington & Hook United, who won 4-3.The referee, who had sent Tydeman off near the end just before a last-minute United winner, was understood to be not seriously hurt although police were called to the scene.Officers arrested 24-year-old Tydeman and later issued him with a caution.Tydeman, who has since apologised, was swiftly banished from the club by horrified City officials – led by manager Kevin Rayner – and has been suspended with immediate effect by county football’s governing body.Club secretary Andy Masters said: “Tommy won’t ever play for the club again. We have expressed our deep regret at what happened.”The Surrey FA have various powers which include a lifetime ban and Masters added: “Striking a referee is probably one of the most serious transgressions on a pitch. This is one of the worst incidents we have been involved with. We apologise unreservedly for Tommy’s actions – this is not the sort of behaviour we stand for.”Asked if the club may face punishment too, Masters said: “We will have to wait and see. We’ll take the consequences.”Surrey FA secretary Ray Ward confirmed a life ban was possible but pointed out, if Tydeman was found guilty, a “three to five-year” suspension was more likely. On any City penalty, he added: “That’s unlikely. You can’t charge a player and a club with the same offence.”It is understood angry Tydeman came onto the pitch after the final whistle to remonstrate with Collins who had given him his marching orders for two yellow card offences.Meanwhile, Rayner said on Monday: “I’ve spoken to the ref and he’s fine. Tom is distraught and embarrassed but nothing is going to change our decision.“He is big enough and responsible enough to deal with it in the right way. He knows he has done wrong but he won’t be at the club again.”And he added: “It shouldn’t have happened, everyone is embarrassed but we have to get on with it.

Unfortunately if people like marlon king and luke Mccormack can come out of prison and gain contracts straight away then compared to those cases this Guildford city case is a lot more minor compared to those! That doesnt mean i am all for what this fella did as i think that what he has done is shocking but you have to look at the club i am afraid and its them that made the statement and have made themselves look poor! The player has served his ban and can now play where ever someone wants him. All depends on how you would want your club to be looked upon

There was a bad incident at a game in the Surrey South East Combination recently, where two team-mates had a fight on the pitch and both got sent off. One of the players threatened to get his 'crew' to knife the other and stole his boots too.

Some players need more than a word in their ear - it is shocking what some players do (at any level, I hasten to add).
