You keep posting old chap and I'll keep glancing over them because you add little value in anything you say and I'm clearly not alone with that opinion.

 

Living in Hook means that I can go and watch many local CCL teams week in week out, I'm not tied to any club in particular but my closest clubs are Hartley Wintney and Eversley both of which are about 5 mins from me. Then there's a whole host of clubs within 15mins - Frimley Green, Camberley, Cove, Ash, Farnham, Badshot Lea. Point is I get to watch CCL games every week whereas you are just stating the bleeding obvious from your sad little armchair in Gloucester.

 

Oh, and as for being a Saints fan, I'm loving it at the moment!! Had a great couple of seasons and now we're back in the big time where we belong. Thought we gave a terrific account of ourselves against the Champs yesterday in their own backyard. I think we'll surprise a few teams this year

Yes GF Im fully aware that Badshot play at Godalming, been there plenty of times to see them play.

 

Okay 15mins from Hook to Godalming is a bit of an exaggeration but it's not exactly a long journey, the point I was making is that there are various local clubs for me to go and see without having to make a 2hr round trip.

Smudge I assume you mean my favourite ground and that wasn't just a general question? Personally I dont have a favourite grounf but do like to visit HW, always find them very welcoming and a decent clubhouse. I have watched Eversley progress through the leagues with interest and think they now have the best pitch/surface in both divisions - I hope they go up this year.

 

I go to Cove and Sandhurst regularly and was actually at the Cove Guernsey match this evening. Haven't yet been to Ash this season but it won't be long before I pay them a visit. Frimley Green are also on my list, but was put off last season cos of their foul mouthed manager (I know he left mid way through last season though), from what I hear they also have a good chance of promotion this year.
