I'll more than be happy to introduce myself to the both of you Briggers and Redrup No2. Although it'll more than likely be a different type of introduction for each person!

Also briggers saying MV won't be up there with the like of Lammas? Who they beat Saturday, not comfortably however to my knowledge missing 4/5 key players. I"d be shocked if they weren't top 4

True, we did have a few out, but we want to keep things pretty low key with the lads and not put any pressure on them to be up there. A lot of them are learning about this sort of football for the first time, and I would be more than happy with a decent run in one of the cups and a top 8 finish.

Maybe it is a little negative, but we are looking to build the club up again after the disappointments of last season, and only setting limited targets. If the guys achieve / look like achieving them, then we can push them a bit further as the season progresses.

I get the feeling Briggers has (successfully) lulled some of us into a false sense of despair for MV's chances this season. hehe, good work feller!

No lulling at all Bommie, just being realistic - early days and a decent start, but that is all it is

Reading that briggers it is very true what you just said about the young team and not putting pressure on them! Knaphill should be a good game on Saturday. I'll be there no doubt to see how you get on.

How do you think it'll end up? On early season form.. Redrup No2 as well? How are Knaphill looking. Saw TRS highlights of the warlingham game from Saturday. Very soft 2nd pen there IMO?

Looking forward to it, games against Knaphill have always been hard fought encounters, and i dont expect this to be any different. If we come out of it still unbeaten that would do me

Mole Valley? Is it next to Ratty Valley, Toad Valley and Badger Valley :P

I know where it is - it's the stretch of land between Dorking and Leatherhead. The south-west tip of the M25 passes through the area.

Saturday was the first game with what I'd call our recognised back four for the season, the 2 games previous when we lost was because of defensive errors, Eversley we played really well but lacked that cutting edge up top, South Kilburn we were 2-0 up and dont know how we let that slip in the second half and against wars, as the highlights show we had chances to add more to the 2 goals but failed too. Overall, even tho we've grabbed 3 out 9 points I'm generally happy with the way were playing. Obviously Lammas being my old team and spoke too some of the boys about MV and they seemed quite impressed. With our 2 defeats early on has now sort of made us too have to go on maybe a 5 or 6 game run now to get back in the mixer, so looking forward to the weekend where we play MV and Frimley on the Monday!!

I thought, at the start of the season, that Windsor and Guernsey would be odds-on for a top-two finish and they're currently in the top five. Cove look good and Badshot Lea have had a good start too.

Hartley Wintney are finding the going tough at the bottom of the Premier - just shows how tough the leap from Step 6 to 5 can be. Also, I bet Big JR is disappointed that his Dorking side aren't doing better. Still early days though.

AFC Croydon Athletic lead the way in the First Division, with Frimley Green, Spelthorne Sports and Farleigh Rovers looking like dark-horses to challenge them. South Kilburn have started strongly too. Staines Lammas and Knaphill are lagging behind, just a bit, but won't stay in mid-table too long. Surprisingly, with all the money they've been given recently, it's CB Hounslow United who are propping up the First Division. Relegated Banstead, Cobham and Sheerwater are still pointless at the moment.

However, don't forget that promotion won't necessarily mean the top sides will go up - there is the dreaded Ground Grading to consider as well.

Edit: As AllStar rightly says, Mole Valley SCR are currently unbeaten and could also be a dark horse!

Now i am sure you are a lovely guy Adam, but you aint half one hell of a bore *YAWNS*

Talk about state the bleeding obvious, you have made riduclous assumptions just by looking at a black & white league table.Everyone knows Hartley Wintey's side followed the manager to Thatcham.I'm sure if the same squad was around last season they would be top six based on their attack.CB Hounslow money?what money?all they have been given is a grant to develop the facillities over time.

Did briggers say camera on saturday redders! I am going to have to put in a performance now! Will be no hiding this week then looking forward to the game agree with redders we gave the first 6 points awy rather then lost them in my opinion through poor defending! Wars was a tough game as will be for every team that goes there. We will improve as time goes on we are finding the balance now and understand good football isnt always winning football and points are the most important thing at the moment. Be nice to meet a few forumites i will be the player that only runs in one gear the whole match(neutral!)

Seriously, Chubby, go and have intercourse with yourself.

I have done nothing to offend you, if you don't like what I type either glance over it - nobody forces you to read it. I just think that you want to be offended and upset, well either that or you are trolling.

Besides, you're a fine one to talk. You're from Hook who aren't even in the Combined Counties set-up, and support Southampton (somebody has to I guess).

What a sad little man you must be.
