Another tough game awaits on Tuesday night we really need to try and add to Saturday's great result,so try and get yourself's down to Kingsfield (Woking) to supports the boys .

There is a coach going and it's only 25 minutes out of London on a rattler.

See you on Tuesday people.

I don't think we can have any complaints about the result. H&Y were a bit better than us pretty much all over the park. That said, we could and should have done better on at least three of their goals. We may have created a couple of our own problems following on from Saturday's selection and it's clear that mistakes get punished at this level.

We kept going though and every now and again we threatened to get back into the match but it was never quite enough. I though the ref had an excellent game.

Onwards and upwards - let's hope they are not all that tough.

Come on you Blues!!

No complaints with the result. Hayes were a good side who on that performance should be play-off material. No need to beat ourselves up, we competed well and there was no lack of endeavour. However, we need to cut out the sloppy mistakes. Twice we got back into the game only to see it needlessly slip away again. If we'd cut the errors out we may have nicked a draw.

Two games in and two good games to watch. The entertainment value and football is way higher so far. Onwards to Eastbourne, coach seats still available!

Musn't forget that last season H&Y finished 21 places below the Football League and were mixing it with the likes of Luton, York, Wrexham etc.. Always going to be a tough mid-week away fixture while we're still finding our feet at this level.

Eastbourne finished 5 places above us in the Pyramid last season, so maybe we'll get a better indication of how we're shaping up after Saturday. Although they're rumored to have spent a few quid on playing staff through the closed season so we'll see if they've spent wisely.

The first half was pretty much all them and they were clearly a big step up in class from anything faced last season.

The second half started better and we got back into the game with the first penalty. Unfortunately we conceded an incredibly soft goal soon after and were back to square one. Credit though for battling on and getting the second penalty following a fine save from their number 4 at the back post. But once again another soft goal straight afterwards put paid to getting anything from the game.

It wasn't a bad display, but its pretty clear errors will get punished at this level.

COYB!

Well the first to games have given us an insight to the season ahead, I feel we gave H&Y to much respect first half, in the second we improve, but soft goals have hurt us last night.

If we are going to give ourselves a good chance of staying in the division this season, we are going to have to learn how to keep the ball from the other teams, both games so far we have done it in spells but not for long enough.

Good turn out of blues on the terrace, we have to back the boys all the way win lose or draw!

Firstly, a very entertaining game to watch, helped by a ref who allowed the game to flow. H&Y were the better side on the day and deserved their win

I thought we had our chances though, the best being early doors when we should have gone 1-up, H took a look at the keeper and lost sight of the ball, on another day I think he puts that away.

Also, that was Dales first 90 mins, (missing pre season) so he is far from match fit and I thought that showed, and lets not forget we had an energy sapping 10 man encounter on Saturday, So all in all I don't see any negatives, and I know Craig will keep improving the side.

I'm looking forward to an entertaining and fruitful season.
