Given Gary's moaning about lack of activity on the forum I thought I'd let the rest of you share in the excitement of my 1,500th post. Three points and a strong performace tonight against the casual boys should make for an appropriate celebration. Though I doubt we'll be able to top Grays 9-1 demolition of St Albans. Nice to think we could, with a Steve Daly hat-trick. Fantasy.

When was that 9-1 game?? I seem to remember last season Canvey Island handing out a 10-1 tonking to Enfield (I think), but I didn't hear of that one.

I thought the Rebels followed England's lead when playing weaker opposition...

 

...reduce the effort to save on potential injuries and then end up struggling to win the match, making the opposition look much better than they really are

I was expecting a larger goal difference in the FA Cup game against Godalming & Guildford, but 2-0 was hardly a goal-fest, was it?

So many chances that were not quite there...

we tonked bracknell without breaking much of a sweat, a performance so laid back we let them score straight from a corner.
