Truro Predictions

Excitement at high levels now. We struggled away for 7 years in the new Ryman aiming for this and finally tomorrow we officially take our place in the conference south. I make this the highest placed league we will have competed in, as our previous appearances at step 2 have had a greater number of teams at that level. In that respect tomorrow will be a historic day for the club.

I fear a V and summer holiday affected crowd so will predict a modest 386 ( we only got 325 last year). I'm more confident in the scoreline so will go for a 3-1 victory with 2 from Osborn and 1 from Chatting

A partisan group of Truro Exiles supporting a troubled club may well lift the spirits of the boys from Cornwall, but providing we concentrate on what we’re good at then 3-0 Ricay, in front of a 500+ crowd.

I don't normally get involved with the prediction thing but we really need to start off with a win tomorrow, this should be the least hardest of the opening 5 games with Hayes & Yeading, Eastbourne Town and Bath City all away and the Upminster mob at home.

Looking at the Truro forum it looks like they are struggling to get a full bench for tomorrow.

Fingers crossed for a good start tomorrow.

Have a horrible feeling you're all a bit optimistic on the Attendence. Hope I'm proved wrong, but with no R in the month...

Truro struggling for a full squad then. Hope things get better for them as the season progresses.

Off to watch an old VHS of Poldark now, to brush up on my Cornish insults (nothing to do with a latent adolescent crush on Angharad Rees, RIP).

3 points for 'Ricay and, hopefully, we'll get to hang on to them 'till the end of the season.

Doing as much promoting over twitter as I can for this game over the last week so hopefully I've informed many people and tempted them.

Not sure on attendance for today maybe in the 400's any higher and we have done well given that V and holidays are in full swing.

I can only go for a home win for our big day of history!
