Big J R
Verdict and sentence expected any minute now. It is suggested that if guilty, Putin himself, (him of the KGB and supporter of executing 'dissidents' on British soil with poisoned tea), will set the sentence, estimated at 3 years. I see on the news that one of the girls husbands has just been allowed to see his wife for the first time in 5 months. Left wing communism is alive and well and thriving in Moscow, One for Rhodes, me-thinks !!!

The Mayor Of Simpleton
I personally think that Putin is more Fabian. I wonder if the same thing would have happened a few years ago, if people had sang anti Blair songs. Remember that TB did not like people who opposed him, and he too was Fabian. Big J R
I must admit, two years is less than I thought would be handed down. Still a Bl00dy Travesty. The judges summing up lasted well over an hour and a half, and when I could find a news channel on TV with translation, I did follow it. For Judges summing-up, read Putins summing-up ! Russia is back to a one man run state. R.I.P.
Eastside Urchin
If you live in a country and go to ridiculous lengths to try to p1ss the government off then they are going to bang you up. Yes I know its not right or fair but some people just get on with their lives while others try to make a statement, those that do,must think one day,was it all worth it,more often than not they think it wasnt

Pink Panther
Thank you JR for finally enlightening me. I have been away touring Ireland. In Dublin, i visited the famous Sinn Fein Coffee shop on Parnell Square. On arrival a kind man asked me what did i want so i sat down and asked for a strong Coffee. The gentleman quickly advised me that infact i had entered Sinn Feins political office by mistake and told me to leave. He kindly escorted me to the Coffee shop further up the Square with two of his friends. Having rested and chatted for awhile i decided to wonder along O'connell street to the famous place where the 1916 uprising began ie the GPO building to take a few photos. On arrival a group of idiots stood outside waving Banners proclaiming 'Free the Pussy'. Now im all for some free Pussy day or night so i decided hastily to sign the petition. On my return, i read here thanks to you JR that its got nothing to do with free sex at all, but a stupid pop band in Russia. I hope they all rot in Jail. The Mayor Of Simpleton
Any dictator is bad, no matter what his political allegiance. Some in the USA have called Barack Obama a dictator, after he recently had a marine arrested?

I wonder if the same thing would have happened a few years ago, if people had sang anti Blair songs. Remember that TB did not like people who opposed him, and he too was Fabian. i believe way back in 1977 a very naughty band called the Sex Pistols sang a song while travelling up the Thames called ' God save the Queen' and were promptly arrested by our lovely Police force. I do not believe i was living in Communist England at the time.

Pink Panther
Some call them Dictators others call them elected representatives of the people. Some call terrorists, freedom fighters. Some would say the Tory/Lib pact are our leaders. Others would say more people voted against them in the last election. Some would believe the Emperor of Japan was a living God. Some would say our Kings and Queens have a divine right to rule. In the end, if you are not a part of the majority you will be always considered a hinderance. A troublemaker. A terrorist. Of course, now and again and over time peoples views change and the majority starts to sway the other way. Its about time this little island of ours stopped sticking its nose into other countries affairs. We are no longer a Imperialist power.

The Mayor Of Simpleton
Seems that there is more to Pu$$y Riot, as they have a sick record (not just on the musical side) women members forcibly kissing women police officers (i.e., sexual assault); throwing molotov cocktails at police cars; overturning police cars; arson; a sex orgy in a public biological museum (which included the head member of ****Riot who was 9 months pregnant at the time); spraying police with their own urine; a woman masturbating with a chicken carcass in a grocery store; throwing live homeless cats at a wall of a McDonalds; painting a giant penis on a bridge; covering themselves in cockroaches while naked in front of pre-school children.
