Bit too old to be under the thumb aren't you JR?

Bit of a 'No-Brainer', really Nige !

Go and watch DFC get stuffed OR........

Sit in the central shopping mall square in Horsham, supping exceedingly well priced ice-cold Amstel and admiring pretty young ladies walking past.

Sorry Mate - NO CONTEST !!

Epsom 0-4 Bedfont Sports and could have been more.

Essentially we got our backsides handed to us on a plate and it was like watching a team of individuals versus an actual team.

We were great at Arundel last week. Bloody hell, I thought we were inconsistent last year, but it looks like that was just a starter!

A vast improvement required from all for next week's FA Cup game at home to Three Bridges, except for our keeper who was excellent yesterday. Oh, and our subs were all good too for the time they were on.

I thought your keeper an marvell were your best two who could say they put in a shift but your tesm had no answer to our 4 well worked goals i personally didnt see that coming after first 15 you had more possesion witout any cutting edge imo although a very hot day perhaps an off day

Nice people a decent game for us but good luck for the season

Tough game against Warlingham on saturday in heat that was horrible to play in. Not the best performance by us but was exactly what we needed at the back from our defence which gave little away to in my opinion one of the best forward lines in the league in Dias and Joseph! Most important thing was getting the points and i felt we did just enough in effort levels alone to win the game. What has happened to Warlinghams centre halfs from last season as both were new and the one's they had last season i thought were decent best of luck to Warlingham for rest of the season.

CB Hounslow 3- AFC Croydon 6.

Stripp x3

Cardona

Pickett

Burrell

CB seem to have a completely different squad and my personal opinion is that they are going to be bottom 2 come May. We went 2-0 up inside 15 minutes through Lee Stripp with a couple of long range efforts. We then seemed to relax and thought we had won it already and all off a sudden CB scored on the break. That then lifted them and they got another just before HT so we went in at the break 2-2.

Had a bit of a bollocking at the break and then that was made worse when CB scored straight away and we found ourselves losing 3-2. That was the kick we needed as we then stepped it up a few gears. Another Cardona header levelled things and then we went on from there and scored a further 3 more. Pic of the goals was young Blake Pickett with a worldy volley straight from a corner.

On to Eversley next weekend which will be our toughest fixture yet. Shame I’m not there!!

It’s not been a bad start for me ey!

Errr… kind of a holiday. Going to Creamfields festival. Think that’s all the football I’m going to miss this season though! Bad timing really as I’ll most probably be warming the bench when I’m back. Was also bang up for playing Eversley considering a lot of my mates are there.

STAY AWAY TREVOR!! :)

Mole Valley SCR 4-3 Staines Lammas

Cracking game, would have been very enjoyable for the neutral, but for me, I was just glad to be hiding behind the camera or would have had no nails left.

Fought back from 1-0 and 2-1 down to eventually go 4-2 up. Lammas though never know when to give up and a goal 10 minutes from time set up a nervy finish.

Pics attached

Windsor v Raynes Park Match Report: http://www.pitchero....xture_id=549793

Can't say that I disagree with much of the report. As for players being cautioned for dissent, when will they learn? Swearing at an official is careless to say the least. The referee laid down a marker so why anyone gets cautioned for dissent after the first flurry of cards is beyond me. The incident where the Windsor keeper clattered into the RPV player was an interesting one. Clearly won the ball but he followed through and cleaned him out. I am sure that I have seen players given red cards for similar challenges elsewhere on the pitch. As for Windsor taking the ball to the corner flag in stoppage time... not impressed. RPV's #9 was extremely fortunate to stay on the pitch following a recklessly late challenge that had Air Traffic Control panicking as George Gould flashed up on their screens for a few seconds.

All in all, an enjoyable game and RPV a far better prospect this season compared to when we played them last season.

Interesting Sock Tape worn in this game, but could not see a clash.

Unfortunately Lammas turned up in blue, and as our home kit this season is blue they needed to change.

With no spare kit on them, as you would expect, Cobham very kindly provided them with one of their kits - Lammas had the blue tape for the blue kit, but obviously nothing for a red kit.

Given that the options were a) play the game with red tape, b ) postpone game, Lammas get fined - everything gets messy - I think the referee showed common sense and got the game played.

I know some may feel he should have adherred strictly to the tape colour coding, but right decision in my book (although just have an argument with one of the lads on facebook regarding our tape which is the wrong shade of blue compared to our socks)

Edited to remove random smiley that appeared.
