Eversley 2-0 Westfield

Scorching day- very even first half with half chances for either sides

Thought we started 2nd well and missed a sitter from yards out- Eversley took the lead through a Baker penalty but we responded well but lacked a cutting edge in the box. Ricky Hogsden slammed home near the end to wrap it up and Eversley could have added a third as we pushed forward.

Think both sides will be in the mix come the end of the season

Premier

1. Molesey

2. Badshot Lea

3. Windsor

4. Cove

5. Guernsey

Don't remember much being said about Molesey pre-season. Thumping 2-6 away win over HW today. Hartley's terrible start continues. Badshot Lea win at South Park which is impressive in itself.

Colliers Wood and Chessington join HW on the bottom with no points from first three games.

Bomaya you do have a short memory dear chap, was raised by me that Molesey had 13 Away games on the trot, who had the best away record in the CCL Last year,Molesey.NO SHOCK TO ME,THANKS CCL COMMITTEE.

I have a terrible memory! Can you point me to a post where you said you thought they might get promotion over Guernsey or Windsor? :P

SP 0-1 Badshot Lea.

True, was fairly one sided, lost count how many chances we had but, as Krooner said, we didn't take them. Mistake by me after 10 mins giving the ball away, they broke and scored. Think that, along with a disallowed goal could have been their only chances compared to 10+ from us but, game is over and gota get on with it now. BL keeper had a worldy, Watto, good lad. Know him from Sandhurst last season. Look forward to the return already at their place.

Hi bom,

i wouldnt say wembley were unlucky, they played ok.

1st half we created enough chances to put the game out of sight, but for missing the target and pearcey making a few great saves that wasnt to be.

looked like a stone wall penalty to me and also we should of had another penalty late on.

2nd half wembley did create a few chances but we defended well.

Not an easy place to go and get 3 points.

Horley deserved a 1-0 lead at ht today although an offside goal being disallowed which was given then over ruled.(when questioned at ht he said he can't over rule the lino, fair enough).

We scored straight from kick off and looked good for it but then the ref took ctr stage again.a great tackle putting the ball out for a corner (the lino gave a corner) the ref over ruled him (consistency???) Their management said the forward said our lad got the ball. A draw would've been a fair result.

Good to see chatfield denying his 40 yrs to make 2 great saves, 1 right at the death to get the win.

MANORS and AUTOPOSTIE.

Sorry about yesterday.

Sudden family change of plan yesterday. Grrrrr ! This resulted in me having to going down to Horsham, mainly for a shopping trip with 'Er Indoors.

It did however, have great compensations.

'Er Indoors went shopping whilst I managed to find a shady seat outside the town centre Wetherspoons in that savage heat to enjoy ice cold Amstels at £2-98 a pint.

Who said shopping trips were gruesome ? Don't young ladies of today wear next to f*ck-all when it gets hot ?

I got regular updates by phone from Ash, and given the result, I honestly think I was in the best place !!!

B)

STILL Chelsea 2 up against Wigan after 6 minutes does have it's compensations
