Is this something to do with Wembley and Budweiser?

If so it will hardly showcase what the CCL is all about...

Well if I had ESPN I would watch the others..but I don't, so I can't, lol.

Good to see they will feature other clubs. Hopefully get a few more people interested.

Programme was OK last night, but so far they have not mentioned what League Wembley play in. Ian Bates was not portrayed in a good manner, focused on him being negative about the changes El Tel wanted to make.

It reminded me a bit of Big Ron Manager, where Steve Bleasdale was uncomfortable with Ron venturing onto 'his territory.'

Do you not think the Bates negativity was maybe a bit of dramatic licence for the show? Not sure. The programme was OK, but I fear it may be like 'Football Hurts' which followed AFC Wimbledon thru one of our Ryman seasons and was drawn out to something like a dozen episodes. Even as a fan, it started to get a bit repetitive after 2 or 3 shows & I doubt neutrals stayed with it. It did have a happy ending though :)

Related to this is today's story on Pitchero about Budweiser investing £1m in Non-League Football: http://nonleague.pitchero.com/news/non-leagues-1m-boost-from-budweiser-15624/.

Whilst some people were/are sceptical about Budweiser and their affiliation with Wembley FC, surely this news today is a fantastic shot in the arm for non-league football.
