... had a good shake of the ol' Anorak and deep in the linings (ie only going back to 02/03) I've uncovered that -

The CCL have had 15 teams (as per this season if I've counted them right  ) progress to the Preliminary Round on THREE previous occasions 03/04 , 04/05 & 06/07.

I s'pose I ought to have kept 'filtering' and worked out which year the CCL had the most success - but a pint (or four) of Guinness calls now - and I got a bit fed up with Mitoo's weird archive date system. :P

Looks as though I may have to get off my backside this weekend,if I want to see an FA CUP game.NO news yet whether Budweiser, will cover the Mighty 'Dream On Team' yet.Nothing local either, which is a shame.Decision Time.

You can watch Dorking v Guernsey from your armchair on Saturday Smudge, in the League and then ESPN on Sunday for the Cup!

Unless BJR's ordered a Meadowbank blackout? ;)

That's the fa cup smudge.our 1st team squad is fit! And the train twice a week, played 10 pre season games and our fitness shows as the 4 games we've played we've finished the stronger.we all know the ex pro's will struggle hence we looked sharper at the end of the Langford game when 3 of them went off.

Game was well managed by Corin Readett, with good support from A/R's & with no incidents of note. Major storm in first half - thunder & lightning. Floodlights on. Then sun came out. Thatcham scored twice in first 8 mins, but Cove composed themselves & equalised before half time. In fact Cove could have gone ahead but missed chances cost them the game as Thatcham told control and ran out 5-2 winners. I see Cove have got Camberley on Monday, so a tough weekend for them.
