Grays were promoted to our division in 2000.

 

The following is my recollection of our record against them since then...

 

2000/01

Home - L 1-2 - Tubbsy in goal for Grays

Away - L 0-6 - pissed down with rain

 

2001/02

Away - L 2-3 - went straight to Reading Festival after game

Home - W 2-1 - Hurrah!

 

2002/03

Away - W 1-0 - part of our record 7 match start

Home - L 1-2 - that's more like it!

 

2003/04

FA Cup - L 2-4 - oh well, concentrate on the league

Away - L 1-9 - embarrassment

Won 2

Lost 6

Goals for 10

Goals against 27

I think you will find we have an excellent record against.... err...Banstead Athletic, Alton Town, De Havilland Vampires and Stade Vernolien to name but a few!

We were always pretty toilet against Grays before they got relegated as well, I seem to remember drizzle, bog and Bob Dowie up front in a 3-0 defeat in that 92/93 season <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
