Looks like I got the squad right then, unless any of the others are signed in next couple of days, somehow I doubt it now.

Cant wait until Saturday.

Ecstatic about STARKEY signing. Extremely glad about Ball staying & more than happy with STUBBS staying put.

Just one more signature and I'll be a real happy chappy. This one will be a match winner more times than any other player this season (if he were to be signed). However it seems he may have been discarded.I sincerely hope not.

It would be a mega bloomer i.m.o. to allow this one to slip through the net and not to have him in the squad (at the very very least). He's the most exciting player I have seen in a Gate shirt for many a year(that includes Kwesi)

This player will be a major player wherever he goes.I want it to be with MFC. Someone out there will benefit enormously if they were to get his signature ahead of us.

The former. Forget the past few games. His form at Whitstable alone showed what a superb player he already is and how well he has been coached. There is real talent there. It showed what he CAN do and I would "love" to see him scare the wits out of opposing defenders.

With a bit more consistency (that will come as it will with other players) & some belief in him by the management he will, again i.m.o,win many a game for us and/or contribute enormously. He is the last piece of MY jigsaw .

I do not think it is Dolby, Cookie is thinking of BUT hopefully the same player as I am thinking of.

Van Persie???

Don't be stupid Mark IF MFC had that kind of money to spend on a player they certainly not spend it on an injury prone, over the hill Dutchman.

Maybe on 1 of the Lions of San Memes though.

Surely when we have Long (who has been playing well last few games), Rhodes, Bodkin (also played well) and Murphy who has been on fire, do we really need another winger???

But is Dolby an out and out winger Alan? I dont think he is. Long has been superb in midfield & will undoubtedly run things there..Bodkin will always do well for us but does he always play out wide? Murphy to me isnt a winger but more of striker whereas Rhodes,(A Quaine similarity),who comes with a good report hasn't shown up in any game I've seen thus far.He does need to step up as does Whitnell. Both big disappointments so far. However in a similar way that Dolby will get better I'm sure those two will too.

It will be great to have that depth in the squad.Someone with something diferent to offer. Dolby has that "something different".

Yes he is Tony, agree with Rhodes but he had already been signed, still think he will come good though as shown flashes of what he is capable of..

As has Dolby shown similar. We will have to agree to disagree on Dolbys best placing on the field.

Without Dolby I can see us getting into the play-offs this season but WITH him I can actually see us winning the league,I really really can.

Anyway it looks like he has been overlooked or discarded so all my good feelings and thoughts about this exciting young player are probably wasted.
