Massive Game on Saturday

Eastside Urchin

Recommended Posts

I don't think anyone really understands how big this game is on Saturday for the club.

The club has come full circle to get back to the Conference South in what, for a club our size is a massive achievment,3 Promotions in 7 years is a fantastic achievment to all involved in getting this club back to where i feel we belong.

This Saturday is massive,if you are not planning on going,i urge you to think again,at the moment i estimate there will be around 80-100 fans going, but these are pretty much the hardcore travellers who go to most games,it may be some others go down on their own, people who are maybe not too familiar to many.

But if you are undecided or have decided not to go,think again.

I think our players would draw inspiration knowing so many of us have travelled to the game, who knows what it could spur them on to achieve.

Come on,get down to Salisbury, its not too far by car and easy and cheap enough by train.

For those who want to join us on the train, see the other thread for details or just turn up by 8.15am at Upminster Station.

Really need to get behind the boys! Only a few of us remember connie south life and the impacted singing for the lads has. Need to all stand together and get behind the lads. All players play better when their fans are behind them! We use to sing even when losing and most of the time we got a goal back!

If you look at the attendances and the budgets that some of the teams have to work with in the RPL then It shows what an achievement it is for AFC Hornchurch to get to the BSS - and they've done it by trying to play attractive football.

Can't wait for the season to begin and if we can get some more supporters along the way then that will be great for everyone involved.

i wouldn't be looking at Saturdays game as being massive in itself rather looking at the four games in August and I think targeting 6 points for a solid start.
