Why move a game from a bank holiday to a Tuesday night, which then risks being postponed due to a Vase replay?

It's to do with an E & E fixture, Trevor.

Dorking v Epsom & Ewell (Epsom involved in FA Cup Sun 26/8)

Badshot Lea 4-1 Mole Valley SCR

Interesting game, where the scoreline doesn't really reflect the whole story.

Matt Griffiths put baggies ahead early on as they started well and Adam Cornell made it 2 soon after. They had the chance to take a 3-0 lead into the break, but Leigh Bowden saved Darren Blake's penalty just before half time. MV had their moments too, with one cleared off the line and a decent Matt Watson save keeping them out. Adam Cornell got 2 more goals in the second half, both from long punts forward as MVSCR dominated for long periods and had several goal efforts and a fair shout for a penalty looking from the far end. For a lot of the second half, baggies struggled to get the ball out of their half and when they did it generally came back fairly swiftly. Mole Valley finally got the goal they deserved in the 89th minute but it was too little too late.

Some dodgy phone footage of the penalty and Cornell's 3rd goal:
