Who is the M Murphy who came on the other night?

 

Surely not Michael.

Michael Murphy has continued to impress since starting with the reserves. Appears to be a good leader and showed those qualities with a commanding performance in defence for the reserves, full of talking and direction for those around him.

 

Has looked quite good in all his appearances for the club that I've seen so far (First team and Reserve) and is a welcome addition to the squad.

So why isn't he in the first team yet?

Probably because he's only just joined after being released by Windsor much earlier in the season. I'd imagine he's still regaining fitness, but his versatility will provide a useful addition to the squad as will his experience and leadership.

Is he the same Michael Murphy who played a few games for us in the conference before going to play in Finland. If so it's good to get another local lad back.
