FA Cup Previews - Extra Preliminary Round

Why the surprise at ESPN's coverage and did anyone really expect anything other than a patronising tone? But look on the bright side. If it results in more people turning up for games at our level, that must be a good thing. I for one will be interested to see if Wembley's home attendances improve because of the media exposure that they are getting.

As for Windsor's game at Flackwell Heath, this was a game we could so easily have lost. Bully pulled off a string of fine saves and Tooley did what he does best. Wilks Park is not the easiest pitch to play on but we stuck at it and showed some good touches.

Not happy with my display yesterday but even more disappointed with Craig burley in the commentary box,his digs about jobs, chances, ground and surroundings were UN called for! It was a great experience in front of a big crowd.all the ex pros had time for everyone signing autographs and having pictures taken.this maybe about Budweiser advertising but there a lot of happy kids there yesterday doing all the above.could be over in the next round uxbridge away.

The star for Wembley was Darryl Atkins, done his cause a lot of good.Batesy better get him on Contract, quickly.Never heard any digs myself, when watching the programme.Nothing wrong in commenting on peoples jobs, thats what Non League is all about. The pitch looked hard underfoot, the Wembley arch looked magnificent in the background. The changing rooms need a bit of work?Looked like a great day was had by all.

Cobham 1-1 South Park

Decent result for Cobham against their Premier Division opponents. Park set out their intentions straight from the kick-off as they immediately sent a shot goalwards which just cleared the crossbar. They had the best of the early exchanges and Dale Burgess put them ahead. Cobham had a lively forward line though and were causing the Park defence some problems at times. Cobham's no9 was yellow carded for kicking the legs of milesy from behind. Cobham's equaliser came from a thumping shot from the edge of the box by Conner McLaren. Cobham had a goal disallowed for offside in the 46th minute, but South Park had most of the pressure second half with Cobham looking dangerous when they broke.

I got a couple of brief South Park attacking moments on the phone in the second half, ncluding our own higgs1 i believe having a shot saved:

For points TRS. We werent up for it as much as we should have and have been from the last couple of games. Credit to Cobham, worked hard, felt we were te better side and had a number of chances where we should have done better. We'll just have to put it right Wednesday. Disappointed with the ref letting a lot of kicking off the ball go, giving soft free kicks and despite telling me I can talk to him throughout the game, gave me no option throughout the 90 minutes. Learnt to not really expect anything other than this unfortunately, just have to get on with it.
