Rough? We have been and are currently poor that's all there is to it. Survival is the aim and that at the minute is going to take a huge effort from the players we have available to the club at present. However Winslow United as a whole club with all the youth sides girls sides and upcoming facility improvements are doing just fine, we just need senior teams to attain the levels the club and town desire which I believe will come in next couple of years. Been around since 1891 plenty of ups and downs in that time this is just another season in our history. Believe me we taking worse stick from people than you, just got to take it on the chin as we are nowhere near good enough at present. Gutting as it is but everybody involved is working hard and hurting but still getting up and going every week. Fair play to them more guts, class, dignity, passion etc than you will ever have.

For most sincere posters of here then it would be stating the facts as WB has agreed but YOU always have an ulterior motive and you were looking to get someone to bite as per usual.

 

Classic case of 'Boy who cried Wolf' - you are renouned for your constant snipes and bile so even if you did tell the truth no-one would believe you. Just stick to posting your 'flesh on the bones' and in the Middlesex County League.

Spot on KB. He has no interest if he did I'd happily discuss however as you said he has 'priors' and I'm sure people don't want to read my retaliations as much as possible it should be proper chat, debate, updates, info, exchanges and sharing of info, banter, requests etc not someone constantly slurring and looking for bites and then retaliations that is incredibly dull. I keep my eye out on W7 and W3 so we can talk in person Rhodes

No we prob wouldn't but we did lose to some poor sides. Not sure what else anyone wants to hear I think I've been pretty honest and thorough with my assessments. This season was always going to be tough and it seems plenty people ready to have a pop I look forward to shoving it down a few throats next year as does Perry. Difficult to get players in after laté appointment, no money and lots of players happy to play below themselves with mates in div2 ADL and Morth bucks and I'm sure other players put off by poor results. Last season is over management and players have gone so comparisons are irrelevant

That was exactly the point I was trying to make, Winslow United used to get to the latter stages of all the cup competitions they entered without breaking sweat so, to quote the bellboy in that George Best joke, where did it all go wrong!
