Would anybody on here 'dob' their disfunctional neighbours in if they knew full well something untoward was going on behind closed doors as must have been the case at Tia's Grandmother's home, presumably the walls on that infamous New Addington Estate are paper thin so they must have heard a thing or two involving Stuart Hazell who could drink for England.

I would, and I have done so in the past.

One five minute call to Crimestoppers is all it took.

Same here.

Before retirement as a LGO, I used to deal with Surrey Social Services a lot, and I still have my contacts ! I was in touch with them only a few months ago.

The problem is, that if the SS (Social Services), have any doubts about information given, they tend to stay safe, rather than risk a private prosecution.

Most normal people would, unfortunately people in certain areas would rather people suffer than dare report something to the police

Eastside Urchin – If I lived next door to the Keeps clan in Hockley, or even in the same road, I would feel I had a responsibility to report them to the Police

Rhodes.... to live in the same road as the Keeps clan you would need to increase your wages 7 fold at minimum

I'm not motivated by money unlike you, we've been here before haven't we

You and your family seem to think that money is the be all and end all in life and you're constantly boasting what you have, ie a high value home in an affluent part of Essex, two cars, two healthy incomes and bulging bank accounts. You're always bringing my parental abilities into question and I admit that I haven't been the best Father in the World but is it appropriate to keep ramming it down your children's throats and throwing pocket money at them.

Cliff, in all seriousness I can only say that you are the one who seems to have a problem with money, having it or not having it. I never see anyone but you bringing it up. Take a look at yourself and ask whether maybe, possibly you have a case of the green eye over it. Keeps only responds the way he does because he knows it winds you up.

And why not? You are by far the biggest WUM on here.

Loosely - Not at all, just the opposite infact as I was brought up with very old fashioned values unlike kids of today which has sadly been instrumental in Broken Britain. I'm not saying Keeps has brought his kids up badly however every time I've met him he comes across as 'the big I am' and the subject immediately turns to money and, like I said, his high value home, expensive 'his and hers' cars, two healthy incomes and bulging bank accounts.

I think your old fashioned values must be skewed Rhodesy. Broken Britain has been brought about by feckless fathers who don't engage with their children and fail to act as responsible role models, got nothing to do with having or not having money but perhaps as you say you didn't do your best by your kids and feel shame when contrasted with Keeps who is involved in ensuring his kids education and encourages their achieving in sport and healthy interests. Anyway I doubt you know much about how hard Keeps works to ensure that his family not only have the best he can provide but also that they enjoy a quality of life involving stable interaction. Somehow I feel that you resent those that have made more of their chances instead of blaming yourself for contributing to "Broken Britain".

Green eye, defo.

If this Mr. Keeps has worked hard for his big homes and flash cars, then what is the problem?

Society needs more people like this, rather than pondlife like John Gizzi who was a Rhyl-based gangster who got his money and big houses through bullying and drugs.
