Kenny Powers
Nice to Basildon top of the table, I heard whispers from them in the press that they would challenge this year. As usual they will impload at some stage. Such a shame as I remember the glory Cups days over at Gardiners, such potential as a club if the right people were in charge at the top. Gt Wakering (1), Bethnal Green (2), Enfield (3) and Burnham (4th) will be the top four for me come May, with a few also rans in the mix like Takeley, Southend and Barkingside. I watched the Takeley v Sawbo match, 9 goals and a decent atmosphere.
Basil-Don
Thanks Kenny the new owners at Basildon are delighted with our start and is a nice reward for all the hard work which has went on during the close season.
manontheinside
John Higley at Basildon will ensure they wont explode,he's an experienced chap who worked wonders at Apsa and after the false hope under Woodsey last season he will get the right players in, its early days yet but last seasons managerial change yielded no league wins in 22 games so this is a Usain Bolt esque improvement

Jenko
Who are the new owners at Basildon then? I heard lots of things about the previous owners basically holding the club back so does this mean that Basildon now have a brighter future?
