SteveB
*NOTE* If you have stumbled across this looking for the existing Fans Forum 2012-13 Team Position Prediction League this is not it! This is a completely different style of prediction league and is still in test mode. The existing League can be found HERE. After a successful test during Euro 2012, I am now trying to run multiple competitions for the 2012/13 season. These will be All Margate games including cup competitions All Ryman Premier games All Barclays Premier games You can join any or all of these and the rules are very basic....if you predict a score correctly you get 3 points, if you predict the outcome but not the score (ie. you predict a home win and it is a home win, but not by the score you predicted) you get 1 point, if you get it completely wrong, you get 0 points (like I mainly did during the Euro 2012 one). Games will generally be available to predict 4-6 weeks before they play, although this will change with re-arranged fixtures and you can predict as many as you want at any time - so you do not have to predict everything in one go. Also, when you register, you are asked to choose a default score so if you do not predict a game in time, your default score will be used. There are no prizes on offer (at the moment) and as it is still being tested there may be the odd problem but everything seemed to go fine during the Euro 2012 comp. The leagues can be found at http://predictions.f...co.uk/index.php and a quick start guide is at http://predictions.f.../quickstart.php. There will be a few more help pages and other bits added in the next few days.
Cookie
So you are saying to ignore the above then are you Steve?
SteveB
No. Ignore the above if you are looking for Peter's prediction league. I just wanted to make sure there was no confusion between the two!!
Cookie
Have tried the above Steve. Clicked on "competitions" but then I get nothing when I then click "join". Actually I do get something. " Oops Access denied" (yes,I am signed in).

SteveB
That should be fixed now Tony. I am just checking if the problem happens on other pages.

SteveB
Good spot Peter. I also missed Chelsea v Reading on the Thursday! They are both there now.
SteveB
With 5 days until the season starts all 3 competitions are starting to fill up, although the Margate only one is not attracting as many as I had hoped. Just a reminder that you DO NOT have to remember to predict every week. If you do not predict a game, your default score will be used. So in theory, you can register, join a competition and forget about it!!
