michael
Does it look like Matless will be the regular reserve goalkeeper ? If that is the case-who will be first team reserve keeper (has'nt lamprell gone to Canterbury ?) Is a reserve keeper actually required ? I'd suggest not-and woud rather have any 'salary saved' spent on an outfield player. If an injury did occur during a league game-it may mean the loss of the game and one or three points-(which you may have only drawn or lost anyway) but its one game only you suffer in-and in the league-you have other games to 'recover'. I'd be perfectly happy to see no goalkeeper sub in league games-and the investment on an additional outfield player for the squad. I do think in CUP games its a bit different-as you only get one chance to progress so can't take the same risk
Bill in USA
Sure someone on this forum somewhere has mentioned the same thing about reserve goalkeeper. Sounds like good logic Michael. Sure someone in a team could help out (especially in this level ((and yes, below )).
Blue Banshee
Hasn't Curtis played every position including stand in keeper once?
