I am going to the Camberley and Guernsey match tomorrow as a CCL club has asked me to look at Guernsey and report my findings (my shortest retirement yet) will also be interesting to see how Cam bounce back from their mauling at the weekend.

Main thing I learned from seeing them last season - in an unconvincing win and two defeats - was their main (only?) weakness were crosses into the box. All the goals I saw them concede were like that. Doesn't help if you can't keep them out at the other end of course and with Ross Allen, that's pretty hard.

Spot on Bommie,dont think anyone from Croydon had seen them play,hence the 8-0 drubbing.Maybe everyone should pm,Danielpjn for the secret ingredient,that enabled Eversley to inflict their only defeat on Guernsey soil.I am sure he would be only too pleased to help.MAYBE YOU SHOULD GO AND WATCH THEM MORE OFTEN,YOU COULD BE A GUERNSEY BOK.

Think you need to create chances as well Jamie. The football was good to watch at the back,however there weren't many scoring chances created. Felt we missed the better chances in the 2nd half.

 

Appreciate it's a new side and I think in a couple of games you'll be flying.

No I agree Daniel we need to create more chances and I know we will but then again take nothing away from you boys for restricting us to that. Our possession at times was dominant I thought but goals win games and you have the firepower of Baker, Hodgsen and Hamilton which ended up being crucial.
