Saturday's Score Predictions

Recommended Posts

Guernsey is a relatively small island, so choices for a Saturday afternoon must be slightly limited, especially in the winter.

Donkey were you no good at MATHS,The Average between 1100 and 1700 is 1400,so gates down. But due to increased entrance prices,REVENUE UP.Probably the other 200 odd were at Home cosied up with a beer, watching on Guernsey TV.

Our average was about 1300 last year 2 games were over the 1700 mark.

Your maths isn't too great either seeing as though you predicted a 0-0 result in our game against Croydon ! Only 8 out Smudgy boy ! You really are the laughing stock of this forum with all your gibberish lol

I'm sure that Smudge bears no malice against Guernsey.

Guernsey coming in to British football was always going to be a potentially contentious issue, but they've done fantastically well and (from what I've seen) have played some great football.

Maybe it is a bit one-sided, but the same could be said for FC United of Manchester and AFC Wimbledon when they started (maybe even Merthyr Town who kept their old squad when they reformed a few years ago). It's up to other clubs to raise their game to compete with them and try and beat them. Guernsey have no divine right to win every game, and I'm sure they know that.

What's the old saying - opinions are like nipples, we've all got them...

Great attendance but that has gone down hasn't it?

It has, but then that does often happen.

I like him and feel like I could have a sensible discussion with him. He might not like too much about GFC but always talks sensibly and acknowledge that they are a good team

According to my records (I'm a big fan of stats and so have been keeping a record of GFC's) the Bedfont game was 2,143, which as you rightly said, was the highest - people went because Guernsey had the chance to secure the title that day (us GFC glory hunters eh!). Semi final against guildford was 2nd highest i think
