Whyteleafe 0-5 wars

The shock result of the night, bet the landlords were not happy.

That's not a shock result. Everyone knows the teams at the bottom of step 4 are piss poor. Most of them only cling on to that status due to reprieves. When they finally get relegated they think they'll bounce back again but they never do.

Camberley 0 Thatcham 0 tonight. Good game - good to see a ref brandish cards in friendlies (one yellow for each side). Thatcham are a typical step 4 side. Big and physical with a couple of skillful players. They'll do alright this season.

Thatcham are a very decent outfit indeed, although I find it strange that they're not in the Evo Stik South & West like their neighbours from down the A4 in Hungerford.

I recall that one of Thatcham's staff wanted them and Evesham United to swap leagues (so that Evesham would be in the Central and Thatcham would be guaranteed a derby game with Hungerford),

Good game tonight against Egham Town some very good goals, and performances, I like Egham and I think they will do well this season, Tommy Hedges who I had at Bedfont Sports is superb and the lad up front has electrifying pace.

Good Luck Egham.

... that's odd - I thought a lot of the current Thatcham's side were last years Hartley Wintney?? B)

Had a few blips in recent PSFs but would be good to see Nev & Skittles' lads try and compete well at STEP04 - a fair few ex-Royals kids there now too.
