7 DAYS TO THE BIG KICK OFF

Now we all know Pre Season Results,do not really mean a lot when the real action gets under way, next Saturday.I personally think that Windsor and Guernsey will fight out the Premier with Chessington and Hook and Dorking being in the relegation zone.Raynes Park Vale will be Top Six.

Div 1 is wide open, but would like to see Knaphill and Eversley & California promoted,Spelthorne must be in the mix also, after their decent 1st Season.Farleigh to have a much better season than last year.Have you any views?

I'm no expert, but I'll say:

Top 3 (Premier)

1. Guernsey

2. Windsor

3. Egham Town

Bottom 3 (Prem)

20. Colliers Wood United (sorry Chris!)

21. Chessington & Hook

22. Dorking

Top 3 (Division 1)

1. Knaphill

2. Eversley & California

3. Warlingham

Bottom 3 (Division 1)

16. Epsom Athletic

17. Farleigh Rovers

18. South Kilburn

interesting predictions Adam have you seen any of these teams play,I went to Frimley Green yesterday and although i'm not predicting (guessing ) anything I would be surprised if they are not in the top 3,the only problem they might have is keeping some of thier players.

I can't comment on Dorkings prospects, not having seen any of the pre-season games.

Could be interesting, though !

Actually, Duncs, I'll be over in London in early November and will be taking in North Greenford's game with Chalfont St. Peter as well as (hopefully) a few Combined Counties games.

As for predictions, I'm probably going along with what most people are saying (i.e. Guernsey and Windsor to do well, Knaphill and Eversley look good for promotion) as well as looking at the tables for last season.

I wasn't having a go Adam I just wondered if you'd been to see any of the teams you have tipped for Relegation/Promotion

Hi Duncs, no worries - sorry if what I said came over wrongly.

I've not been to see any CC sides so far, but I would like to.

Can't wait for are trip to guernsey next Saturday. Can anyone tell me if we need to take warm up kit for next Saturday.

Sadly, I can't make this, but I'm hoping to be one of the first to try out the live streaming on Guernsey FC TV. How are we looking this season no melts? Much the same squad as last season, or quite a few new players?

Most of the squad that finished last season are still with us, we lost or let go about 4/5 and have picked up 4 very good players who played at a good standard last season.

I swear that this time of the year goes by quickly - it seems like only yesterday Euro 2012 was starting, and now the new season is upon us again!

How are we all feeling, ahead of the new season? Confident? Optimistic? Pessimistic?

I'd certainly have to say the latter, as a Gloucester fan! Anyway, good luck to all the sides this season - hopefully it'll be a good one to remember.

I'm happy to read the 'Obit's in the Telegraph every morning just to establish I'm still alive.

Next season ?

Hmmmmmmmm !!! Not sure yet.

Maybe a BeeGees number might give a clue !!
