Jeff Trice
Haven't seen it mentioned elsewhere but our former keeper Lee Turner was at Hartsdown Park last night - now Palace's goalkeeping coach. Also present was 1980's Thanet United striker Darren Hare.

michael
So they were taking it quite seriously then. Is'nt that the Dougie freedman who signed for us about 10 years ago-and then either got injured or went awol-can't exactly remember.
Jeff Trice
That was Darren Freeman, goal on his debut in a friendly at Folkestone and then never kicked a ball for us again. He was with Whitehawk when we played them at Hartsdown Park a year or two back. Manager possibly.
Pagey
Michael, we had a few palace fans in the sponsors lounge and they werent too happy with the result, they were really expecting to spank us One of the palace fans was the only person not drinking so I said he could pick MOM from any player on the field, thought it was nice he picked one of our players, he said that Margate were so much better !!! Looking forward to the ups and downs of the season (hopefully more ups than downs)

Does that imply that at most other matches-the m of m is chosen by someone who has had a drink or ten-no wonder we always disagree with who they have chosen!!. well done again TCLl- Up the 'Gate
