Dizzee Rascal was probably included as he grew up a stones throw away from the Olympic Park.

 

Besides that he is talented. I am unsure why the Arctic Monkeys were chosen but I'd rather them than the dinosaur that is Paul Mc'Cartney. Past it!

I think the Stones (Keith Richards born during blitz in london "I was born in a crossfire hurricane" Jumping Jack Flash) or Bowie should have closed it. McCartney was not a good choice to end it. Still love a song along to Hey Jude which is just as well cos he forgot the words.

Don't usually go for opening or closing ceremonies but anyone who knocks it must surely just be a miserable cnt.There may of been bits that some didn't like but on the whole it was fantastic.

I guess some people just can't help being fckng miserable

Can anyone explain, why I get an e mail stating tickets for volleyball and boxing available. Click on ticket page stating 4 tickets maximum but cannot even get 1 let alone 4. Stating none available.

I thought it was ok.. it was brilliant. It had its good parts and bad parts. The thing I mostly enjoyed was the Mr bean part and the fire works lol

...... and I only found out yesterday, that when 'James Bond' went into the palace to collect the Queen, it actually WAS the Queen.

 

It was filmed in March. So much for people saying HM is old and out of touch !!

Defo that was brilliant "I've been expecting you mr Bond" genius. The rings being forged raised to the sky and burning bright was stunning.
