We all knew it would be much tougher match Away from home, Tough being the word !

 

All due credit to GB who made the tough decison to leave out Adam Locke, who has played fantastic latley and bring in a ball winner in Jamie Southon. J was my man of the match he battled for everything and was prepared to go in tough against a very aggresive side.

 

Subject to the Referee's effort we went away from home to the league leaders and got a great point.

Agree with you about Southon being the man of the match, top performance by him. Also thought the usual suspects performed well again, West and Vinny!

 

How funny was their penalty misses though! I was standing in the middle of their home end when he blazed the first one over and cheered with delight. Felt a bit silly though when the cheating ref and lino gave them a second try, but cheered even louder when that went over in exactly the same place! Was heart in mouth time though as the cretin lino stuck his flag up for some unknown reason after their second penalty had gone over!

not having made it to the match..I was a little diisappointed last night after hearing the result ....expectation to high really....

 

all in all and in the cold light of day it was obviously a solid performance against the top league side...

a very strong team performance from the boys, carshalton played a much tighter game as we new they would but excellent perfomances from jamie, vinnie and westie also good to see taff given a chance, well done the urchins............
