Doubt it. It was a hot summers day so people probably went to the beach. Plus it was only a jersey team, hardly one to attract the crowds!

Molesey won 2-1 at Arundel.

Speaking to Thatcham management after the game - the game against Sheerwater was trialists and 8 of them were released after the match..anyway today we defended awfully. Tried a new formation had a few missing and a few trialists came in. Didn't work out on the day and we live and learn and move onto Ash on Tuesday. Come next weekend all the friendlies will be forgotten about. I'm sure today will be on some players minds over the next couple of days so lets see how they react Tuesday.

Brief report for inmyday. Got a good set up and strong team down there at Eversley, certainly think you'll be top 3. Was meant to have a bet with Baker on him not bagging but he seemed to come up with a last minute 'holiday' so didn't play! Otherwise I think you had a pretty much full strength squad.

 

We took the lead through a well worked goal and Eversley equalised with a worldy after I think all 4 of us mis-timed the kick and the wind! Very good finish though.

 

We got the winner in the second half with a good solo effort from our left mid. Personally felt we were quite comfortable second half but wouldn't say there was much difference between the two sides throughout really.

 

Good luck for the season, like Eversley and know a few of the boys and management well, so hope you come up.

Only watched the 2nd half,but agree with the above summary. Very even and both sides had a few half chances,before the South Park wide player capitalised on some slightly naive defending.

 

Good luck to South Park for the season. Very likeable club and showing those of us in Div 1 the right way to progress through the pyramid

Hailsham Town 1 v 1 Mole Valley SCR

 

Decent game, we played well in the first half and took the lead through Kris Barry, had a couple cleared off the line before Hailsham equalised just before the break following a mistake by our skipper.

Second half was disappointing as we as we didn't play anywhere near as well as in the first half, but defended ok and no real chances.

Almost snatched win with last kick of game when a free kick just went over.

 

Ressies lost 2-0 to Hailsham ressies, conceeding in 44th and 90th minutes, which shows a lack of concentration - but with all bar 3 of the players 17 or under it is a learning curve for them.

was a good performance from us 1-1 until the last ten mins against a very strong merstham side

Camberley 3 Aldershot XI 2 good game with a couple of excellent goals one by Camberley with an excellent volley and an Aldershot direct free kick from the edge of the area, one sour point as far as I'am concerned is that we have apparently let go our very young keeper from last season who never let us down and is just learning his trade, any CCL clubs needing a young keeper with loads of potential snap him up.
