spammy44
It is with great sadness I have to announce that my Dad known to all as "Sammy"passed away last Friday at the good old age of 90 years old.A loyal supporter of 70 years until a couple of years ago he rarely missed a match home or away. My happiest memorys were going to away games with him as a child in the early 70's and in later life watching Chris's invincibles when we were in the conference. His funeral will be at 2.00pm at the Crematorium on Friday 3rd August.
geoff pay
Nigel this is very sad news indeed. I have missed him in the last two seasons. I have made enquires about him through the club but all they said was that he could not walk anymore. I hope they put something up on the web site. Your dad was always a friend of my family and will be sorely missed in Broadstairs and especially at the cricket club. A real sportsman and a gentleman.
