A brief report on the game from another Forum:

 

Dunstable Town 1 Luton Town 0 Bedfordshire Premier Cup. Att: 323. Admission £6, Programme 50p (magnifying glass required to read it!)

 

A good feisty affair. Luton fielded a youth team who could play but Dunstable gave as good as they got. Scored midway through the second half as a shot slipped through the visiting keeper hands and looped in. Luton missed a couple of chances but by the end they were losing their rag as the home team put in the effort and at times out footballed them.

 

Second visit for me to the new Creasey Park. A good venue, all the better for the bar and refreshment counters now opened. Plenty of potential if either home side progressed, or God forbid, they pooled their resources.

 

Top tip for those visiting and wanting a big feed before hand. The Mulberry Bush (a 5 minute walk away) served a superb carvery for £5.25 which I can heartily recommend!
