2012/2013 Predictions

Recommended Posts

I am going for what I have know/seen/heard (From Rhodes) :-)

Spartan Prem:

I'll go for one of these 5 to win it. The best I can narrow down at the moment

Aylesbury United

Berkhamsted

Colney Heath

Haringey

Hadley

Div 1:

I'll pick a clear winner here. Hoddesdon Town with the squad they are putting together "must" win the league or they will never go up.

The other teams will below will do well also

Cockfosters

Codicote

Harpenden T

London Lions

Div 2:

Ill go for one of these 4 to win it

Wolverton Town

Aston Clinton

Aylesbury Reserves

Broxbourne Borough

Spartan Prem:

Haringey

I’ll be very surprised if Haringey Borough repeat their over-achievement from last season but will be happy to be proved wrong

Hadley

SSML - What evidence is there to suggest that Hadley will do well next season

Swap Hadley with Ampthill other then that agree with the prem.

Not sure about London lions always seem strong in patches apart from that I agree with Div 1

Don't know anything about Div 2 but if Broxbourne have held onto some of last seasons players then they should run away with it. Maybe

Lots of ex St Albans players linked with a good bunch that have always been at Hadley. Could improve a lot this season #outsiders

I'm going for:

Prem: Aylesbury United.

Div 1: Cockfosters.

Div 2: Broxbourne Borough.

I like hartford town Hoddeson and broxborn because they are close to me so they might win it.

But I thought broxborn played games v hartford

SSML - Well only Ben Luck and Roberto Quattromini, two players don't make a team do they

Div 2: Broxbourne Borough

I still think Aylesbury Reserves will be far too strong for Division 2

I think Broxbourne will finish nearer the bottom of Division 2 than the top

Hahaha ok mate. I'm sure they will too, however you can play down Hoddy as much as you want but in reality you have got to be so confident with all you are throwing at it this season. Can't see you losing many. Course you don't want to put yourself up there to be shot at I get that totally but don't think many will be shocked to see you leading and finishing on top

I hope we do mate but I'm a little more grounded than that. Seriously though, I don't think we are "throwing" anything more at a promotion push than we have been doing in recent years. Players come, players go. We are still a division 1 club and will be until we secure enough points to gain promotion, whether that's this season or not. We have retained 99% of last seasons squad as well as adding one or two more.

If we are in the hunt come Xmas I might allow myself to dare to dream bit until then, NOTHING is decided.
