Ash 1 Walton 2 a very compelling game with both teams having a few good chances,on this showing Ash looked pretty good and although they lost they were always in the game and can take this as a worthwhile exercise very impressed with the Ash attitude and it don't matter who you are it wont be an easy ride when any team play them,saw me old mate AU postie and had a bit of banter with him must just say the pitch was sh1te and the lines were wobbly.

 

Yep agree there......the new groundsman is crap......better get rid of him

I went to the Malvern v Evesham game on Tuesday, and their pitch is still awful - not changed from when I played there. One corner is about six inches higher than the other!

 

One idea that they were looking at, with the help and co-operation of West Midlands Police, is getting young offenders to clean their ground including mowing the pitch and leveling it off. Seems like a good, positive idea to me, as their last groundsman was about 22 stone, 5ft tall and on about 30 tablets a day to stay alive!
