Guernsey airport is closed on Christmas Day, as it is every year.

 

There are also major works going on the runway and taxiways so the airport is also closed 27, 28 November and 4, 5 December 2012.

Do you see any of the clubs that are affected by it moaning ? NO !

 

You are a very dedicated person so i suggest focus your energies on helping out at a club rather than moaning on here

 

It is not MOANING Darren,it is debate.As for helping out a Club,no one wants me, I Cannot for the life of me,understand why I have had NO OFFERS.I have been trying to push the Guernsey TV package to Croydonians over the last week,even hired a Big Marquee for the Purley Way,Ice Cream Van,BBQ,Face Painting, the uptake has been tremendous.Expecting to make a killing,and then retire to Guernsey.DO I NEED A TV LICENCE?

You are much more suited to Jersey (mind you as much as I hate Jersey I couldnt do that to them, try a little rock somewhere in the Channel, somewhere out of wifi/telephone line contact, somewhere that you can just sit there and type messages/argue with yourself and fight made up battles for the sea gulls and shell fish

Molesey of course.Anyway being the NICE GUY I am,would like to warn our not so bright Guernsey Posters,there are Scammers at work in Guernsey,so beware of Headed letters from big companies,they are not what they seem,so I have been told.They only want to rob you of your hard earned.

Having been the biggest whinger over Guernsey getting 7 of their last 8 games at home last year.It now follows that they will get 6 out of 7 Games at home from 24th November--29th December

 

24th Nov.---Home --South Park

 

1st Dec -----Home --Windsor

 

8th Dec -----AWAY --Croydon

 

15th Dec ---Home ---Sandhurst

 

22nd Dec ---Home ---Dorking

 

26th Dec ----Home ---Horley Town,match to be played any convenient time over XMAS PERIOD

 

29th Dec. ---Home ---Hanworth Villa.

 

Must be that the Egg Chasers have a December break from playing at Footes Lane,the irony being for me that their only AWAY GAME is at Croydon FC.I just hope that we get a mild winter for everyones sake.Even I could not make this up,with my vivid imagination.

 

Boxing Day Treat

 

Guernsey FC Captain Sam Cochrane is delighted at the schedule,not travelling over that period 15th--29th December will really help us.

Of course it will help the players at a family time of year because all teams who visit over the period will obviously only have to make one away day visit whereas if Guernsey had all away fixtures they would have to travel every second day.

 

Guernsey have not had any favours here and as stated before all teams have to play each other twice across the season. Guernsey also have a run from 21 August until 8 September where they have 5 away fixtures on the trot, do you hear any whinging - no - do your hear any other clubs whinging - no - do you hear Smudge whinging - yes as always

Yes much much too close, we can see Jethou and if you shout loud enough you can almost be heard on Herm and at low water you can almost walk to Herm and from Herm you can get ferries to Guernsey. I dont want any misunderstandings here, it must be a rock in the middle of the channel with no visible land and no way of communicating or receiving communication. In fact it is not even allowed to be in the shipping lanes just in case someone comes by and he hitches a lift or gets near their radio!
