The Mayor Of Simpleton
I've been asked this question, and I know that John Bowler (Crewe), Ray Trew (Notts. County), Ken Bates (Leeds United) and Milan Mandaric (Sheffield Wednesday) must be some of the oldest Football League Club Chairmen in England. However, can you think of any others - if so how old are they and which club are they Chair of?
Eastside Urchin
Isn't peter hill wood of arsenal still the chairman? If so,he is knocking on a bit
The Mayor Of Simpleton
Of course, silly me - as a Gooner I should have included him in the list! I think he'll stay as chairman for a while yet too.

The Mayor Of Simpleton
Indeed, Eastside. We need to get read for life after Arsene as well and to sort Usmanov and Kroenke out as well. The Chesterfield owner, Dave Allen, must be one of the oldest as he's well into his 70s.
