One of the trialists definitely was Joe Kelly.

Info I've found on him:

20 year old attacking right back, started his semi pro career at Harefield, then onto Walton Casuals. At the beginning of last season signed for Hampton and Richmond but spent a part of last season on loan at Harrow Borough.

There was a little rumour on Tuesday that we might have a forward from Staines coming along.

Wouldn't be the biggest surprise in the world as I see the new manager at Staines, Marcus Gayle, has got rid of the whole Staines squad from last season.

Let's hope it's true! I hope he's tall, strong and can score goals with his head and knows how to hold the ball up to bring others into play and at least the rumour isn't that he played for Hemel,Walton Casuals, or Chesham, where we seem to get most of our players from ! ha ha !

I'm surprised Steve Cordery hasn't been snapped up as a manager by some club yet,as he had a good record of success at Staines Town, apart from last year's struggles. There's no guarantee that Marcus Gayle will be any better, you only have to look at Didi Hamann at Stockport and Mark Kinsella at Daventry to know it's not a forgone conclusion that ex league players make it in Non-League football.

Richard Butler is 5ft 10in 3spirit, so not quite a target man, he has played for AFC Wimbledon and St. Albans, both clubs had Dave Anderson in charge at the time, believe he's also played for Boreham Wood but may be wrong!

It may not be Richard Butler after all, only 1 man will know that!
