Savagebee
Whats your thoughts on them ? http://nonleague.pitchero.com/news/fa-allow-3g-pitches-in-qualifying-rounds-14625/
thecoldend
Saw a game on Baldock's pitch last season and it was good. I can't see it being a problem no more with the advance in quality of them Can see a lot more non league clubs fitting them for income streams etc
I Love Football
3G pitches are very good to get fixtures completed in all weather which is the onvious point. They can generate a lot of money if clubs can hire them out before and during the season. The down side to playing on them is that the rubber nobblets can get everywhere. A friend of mine had to be taken to A&E after one got stuck right inside his eye. Also sometimes depending on the weather the ball does not bounce true and can cause players to make unforced errors when the leather surface of the ball gets too much friction from the rubber nobblets and can even bounce slightly back towards where the ball has come from. I'm totally split on this one...

I have played at a number of grounds that have them and try are good but of course it's not like the real thing. At this level pros are after a one off cost you have no maintenance to worry about you can hire it as a source of income also all your teams can play and train on it throughout the year, no games called off.
