Got Bracknell Friday night, Binfield Tuesday, and I believe Beaconsfield the Saturday after. So just have to see how it goes mate. Spose the next question is, do you play higher or lower opposition in friendlies? Lol. Jesus... That'll cause a debate lol

I was actually gonna start a thread up saying that, like are friendlies are Staines Town, Walton & Hersham, Hampton and Richnond and Wembley. Would be interested to see if people believe playing higher opposition is pointless or is a good chance to play against high standard players!

Of course it is unless of course the team like Poole Town send a team of kids/ressies and you thump them 10-0,would not of been so bad if they had paid there own expenses.Total waste of time in that case.

Eversley 4 - 0 Ash United

Pretty even 1st half and both teams had good chances to score, Ash somehow hitting the bar from a close range header. Eversley looked slightly more dangerous on the attack although would say Ash had more of the ball and had a good 10 minute spell. Just as half time was approaching there was a blatant (and needless) push on an Eversley player in the box and Matt Baker slotted home the resulting penalty.

Second have got to say Eversley dominated and it looked as though they were the Prem side, Ash on the other hand looked poor. Eversley made it 2-0 early in the when Ricky Hogsden scored a lovely 30-yard chip over the keeper after some poor defensive play. It was then 3-0 a few minutes later when the Eversley sub (not sure of name) scored a low drive after only being on the pitch a few seconds. Lots of substitutes were then made but Eversley continued to dominate and Matt Baker scored the goal of the game after some lovely inter play in midfield but the finish was superb.

Ash rarely threatened and the scoreline could have greater. Very impressed with the Eversley squad, they looked stronger, fitter and hungrier and on this showing should be pushing for promotion this season, they have definitely strengthened and in fact Ash had a couple of ex Eversley players.

Considering the heavy rain recently the pitch looked really good and also the main pitch (which hasn't been played on all pre season) is looking excellent, what a luxury for them to have as i suppose not many clubs have the facilities to play home friendlies whilst also preserving their main pitch.

Sandhurst Town 0-8 Godalming. Good work out for us. Two different sides each half. Changed completed team at half-time. Many positives to take from it. Godalming are decent setup, and a very good side. Wish them all the best for next season.

Thanks Tommo.

To be fair, although we had several missing last night, all but 3 of those who played last night were part of our squad that reached the play-offs last season so all know each other very well. On the other hand you obviously have a lot of new players to take a look at who don't really know each other yet and that makes a real difference at this stage of pre-season.

Best of luck for the season to you and everyone at Sandhurst.

Pagham 0 Horley Town 0.

Decent game on decent pitch, both teams hit the post and Pagham keeper made 2 great saves from Jamie Risebrow.

Horley missing 6 from Saturday's Friendly at Steyning gave debuts to 4 new faces.

Spke to him this morning Newby, not a happy man lol. To be fair, he actually had a decent game! None of the 7 were actually his fault...if that makes sense lol

i know the feeling you put in a decent shift an end up on losing side yet you on a personal have no negatives highly frustrating!! ;)
