ETFC attempt to sign Abbey Defender

I have it on good authority that Enfield Town approached an Abbey defender to sign for them. The offer came through a Town player, they offered him quite a lot of money to sign.

Don't know about the abbey player........But according to the gazette,Jim has registered a seven day notice to approach a player.

 

Most Town fans will know who it is.....and if it's true ,i'll be very happy to see him in an Enfield Town shirt.

Jim made the approach for the abbey defender via a town player who knows him.

I think I know both players concerned and I think from all I hear it would be a wise choice. Don't know about big money though!

 

As for Daniel-son he has been a great servant of the town for 2 years and he is a showman, if Jim wants him back thats Jims call. Daniel must miss the town crowd and the atmosphere running out in front of both the Ilford fans (the Olivers).

 

(For both Daniels benefit) My favourite Town match still is the day we beat Harrow Borough and both Daniels didn't just play they were awesome.

 

I'd just be happy if it were to leave Ilford, Eton Manor, Burnham and the Addicts in our wake and make it a two horse race between us and Concord. Yes I did say Eton Manor they are good this season and all respect to them.

couldn't get a copy at the weekend. I've rung them today and they don't have any copys in their office. It's because of the Queen's visit. See Invis, people in Enfield are interested in the Queen even though there a a few republican old gits still around like you!

Quite agree with you Cleggy ref ET/Concord 2 horse race etc. Olivers FC won't be too far away and Basildon Manor don't seem to be producing too many impressive wins. They only managed to fix Wabbey with a single shot, still better than we managed though to be fair to MiM and company.
