Talking of Facebook, they have reported a loss of about $650m this week following the bungled stock market float in May, incredibly they will slide into the red after taking a $1 billion accounting hit to cover share based payouts for staff and early investors. Facebook's value has plunged $20 billion since the floatation, technical glitches and concerns over the site's ability to make money from smartphones as well as adapting to mobile devices have seen the share price fall from $38 to $28.76.

With the new Face App. it is buying, a lot of people are quite concerned that Facebook is now more of an 'information gathering' site than a social network.

I quit FB about four months ago, and to be honest i don't miss it. All my friends and contacts are either on MSN or Skype or mobile, and it's easy to keep in touch with them.
