bomaya
Going to go through all the club's in the leagues as we lead up to the new season. Why? a) to check all the details ie website, twitter, wiki, management, ground info b ) to look back at recent years and see what things are expected this season EPSOM & EWELL a) Website: http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/epsomandewellfc/ Twitter : https://twitter.com/EEFCWebmaster Wiki page - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epsom_%26_Ewell_F.C. Manager: Lyndon Buckwell, Ground - NEW sharing at Chipstead this year http://www.chipsteadfc.com/findus.php Mr Webmaster, you might want to update your website as it still shows Merstham as your ground! b ) 2012 = 14th 2011 = 10th 2010 = 5th 2009 = 4th 2008 = 10th Last year was the worst finish for the Salts for a while so maybe the change of surroundings at Chipstead will do them some good. As well as that change there are some new backroom staff, some returning players (Dale Marvell and Kyle Hough), some new players ( Colin Harris, Sam Currie and midfielder Billy Ramsey) and maybe best of all - a secretary as they lost a few points due to ineligable players last time out. Smudge
Your old muckers Windsor won it N.G.the only thing they did win though, bet their programme cost a fortune to produce.Funny thing is though E&E's programme was higher ranked in the Nationals than Windsors. E&E Rich
Significantly higher Smudge! The difference between third and thirtieth is the same as between 30th and 200th. Seeing as there is a small cash prize involved in the League award and that we need all the money we can get, it was a very disappointing decision and I have to wonder what criteria the league uses compared to a national survey. I sent both parties the same six programmes for consideration, by the way. Bitter? No. Very disappointed? Yes. And by the way, why can't you win something every year? As for Currie and Ramsey, fair commment spursfan. Bear in mind that we were near the bottom too though! By all accounts they are doing very well in training and it looks to me from my limited knowledge of the situation as though Currie will be our starting full back. Smudge
Who was CCL Ref of the Year,or do they not recognise 'The Men in Black'Still look on the bright side Ed,with the CCL Money in the bag,Windsor will have an even bigger budget next year, that could be decisive. It was a tongue in cheek response, in other words why can't you win every year ? Seems like Old pals act to me Ed...... !
