It's always difficult for little clubs when the big clubs are after their prized asset, but so long as you get good money and can re-invest in finding a good back-up then that will help soften the blow.

Besides, if a player is good enough to go up a few leagues, he deserves that chance.

Look at clubs like Crewe - they have to sell their best players, in order to break-even. Their club runs at a loss of £1.2m per annum, and it's only player sales on top of corporate hospitality etc. that keeps them in business. John Bowler (one of the oldest club owners in the country, if not the oldest) runs a very tight ship and that's at League 2 level!

It'll be tough if Windsor lose O'Toole, but I guarantee that there's as good a player out there waiting to fill his boots. That's the way of the football world.

.......and thats what Windsor will do if O'Toole leaves, 'cos with their budget they have the funds to steal, sorry entice the better CCL players away or even go to the Ryman/Southern League, its all relative thru' out the leagues. As stated above, even if O'Toole stays and things aren't going to plan, they'll simply splash the cash and get another player in...yes thats the way of the football world ....... ;) !.

I do know of somebody who's friends with a former Reading U16 striker. He's a little rusty but has all the attributes and has mainly been playing University level football of late.

If it helps both parties, I'll let Windsor's officials know more.

Be interesting to read your comments,in the intro Bommie, please don't mention Money.

...why not TWO FACE ? Its a fact so why not mention it, that despite the +£1800 A WEEK they didn't win the league, whats wrong with that ? You go for it Bommie !.. ;)

Got to be one of the favourites for a promotion spot with those sort of players.

I think Div 1 is going to be a very competitive and exciting league this year, maybe more so than the Prem if the 'big two' dominate from early on.

What odds would you put on teams winning the Premier League and 1st Division?

i.e. 2/1 Guernsey winning the Premier League, 4/1 Windsor winning the Premier League, 5/1 Egham Town winning the Premier League etc.
